Hi, planning a trip for May 201 4 and can't decide between BCV and BWV. We are a family of 4 and I find both resorts intriguing for different reasons. Have either been refurbished lately? Any insight into the properties you can give will be appreciated

    Hi Margaret!

I have stayed in the Beach Club Villas and Boardwalk Villas and they are both fantastic.   My kids are 5 and 2 and given the choice, they would pick Beach Club in a heartbeat.   Have you seen the pool?  Stormalong Bay is AMAZING!  We spent practically our entire trip getting waterlogged in the pools.   What's better than having our own mini waterpark in the backyard of your resort?

Aside from the pool perk, the two are very similar.  Both classic in style, both with excellent dining options and both just a short walk to Epcot.  Boardwalk does have more action in the way of clubs, little boutique shops and the typical "boardwalk"  activities, but you can take advantage of all of those things no matter which resort you choose.

During your visit, I highly suggest you take a self-tour of the resort you did not choose.   That way, you'll know if it should be an option for your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Have a magical day!
