I am planning a trip for May 2018. When is the best time to book our stay? I am hoping they offer the room discount in May again, so kinda waiting on that but want to book 6 months out so we can be ready to grab those hard to get reservations. Thanks!

    Hi Emily,

How exciting to know you are planning a magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort during the spring. It is a beautiful time to visit, especially as the flowers are in full bloom during Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

When is the best time to book a Disney vacation? Good question! I always advice my family and friends to make reservations once they have your dates finalized and to do it based on their budget. Mickey wants to help us with Special Offers, but sometimes they can take a little time to become available. If something does show up that you can take advantage of, you may be able to add the offer to your existing reservation. Since availability is limited, you may need to adjust your Resort hotel selection and/or dates. Best is to speak to a Vacation Planning Specialist at (407) 939-1936 or your travel agent.

One last tip: dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, regardless of where you stay. Having a Resort Hotel reservation will help you because you can do so 180 days from your Check-In and for your entire stay. This is perfect for those hard-to-find spots like Cinderella's Royal Table. Happy planning!
