Planning a trip in May of 2012 with 2 adults and a 3-year old. Trying to decide between a lake-view studio at BLT or a studio at VWL. I love the theme and comfort of WL, but the location and transportation aspects of BLT are very appealing. Any advice?

    Hi Mary:

How can you give me a question with no right answer?  I have two boys, ages 5 and 4, who have been traveling to Walt Disney World since they were infants.  If my boys were making this decision, they would focus on the transportation options and give the slight edge to Bay Lake Tower for the monorail, even though the Wilderness Lodge has the edge on theming.  My boys love riding the monorail, and while you can ride the monorail even if not staying at the Contemporary or Bay Lake Tower, you'll have much quicker access at Bay Lake Tower.  One the other hand, at Wilderness Lodge, my boys love riding the boat over to the Magic Kingdom, a boat ride they view as much fun as an attraction.  It's a very tough call, but I  think the adults in your party will appreciate the convenience of Bay Lake Tower and your three year old will never forget the monorail, so the ever so slight edge to Bay Lake Tower.  But don't regret your decision if you pick Wilderness Lodge.

    Enjoy your vacation.
