We are planning on a trip on March 16-22. Will that weather be comfortable enough to enjoy the pool areas and the Blizzard beach? Just want to make sure we can enjoy everything.

    Hi Heather,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. For my family, a trip to a Walt Disney World water park is a must-do for every vacation! We enjoy playing the day away on the waterslides and in the wave pools. We enjoy both Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park as well as Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Each has a great theme and so much to enjoy! We also find that spending the afternoon at the pool at our resort is great for our family. We like to head to the theme parks first thing in the morning, stay through lunchtime, and then head back to our resort by early afternoon to relax at the pool. The pools have such fun themes. We truly enjoy our time in the water!

In March, you will find that the average high temperature in Orlando is 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Since you are heading to Walt Disney World in the later part of the month, it may be a bit higher. Walt Disney World does heat the water in all of its pools and water parks, so the water temperature will be comfortable wherever you go. You may just want to keep an eye on the weather forecast to see which day is the best for heading to a water park, and which might be good for an afternoon dip at your resort pool. You will probably want a warmer day for the water park, since you will likely spend a longer time there.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Heather. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
