We are planning a trip in March of 2013. We we thinking about staying in Cornado springs ot Carribberan beach. We have two girls that will be 9 and 7. Just looking to get some opinions on both resorts? thanks

    Hi Tracy,

I've stayed at both Disney's Coronado Springs and Caribbean Beach Resorts.  They have comparable amenities so I would base your decision on theme.  If you envision your perfect vacation set amidst a tropical beach setting, then Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is the way to go.  They have some fun pirate-themed rooms at this resort which you might wish to reserve if your girls dream of mischief and adventure on the high seas.  This resort has the added advantage of being very close to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

If a resort with excellent Mexican food and charming southwestern decor is more to your liking, then you should opt for Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.  Of the two resorts, I prefer the themed pool here. The water slide is fast and exciting at the Dig Site!  And I have to admit that they have some alluring margaritas at this resort as well.  Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is situated closer to Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Honestly, between these two resorts, you can't really make a bad decision.  Post a follow-up question if there's anything else you'd like to know about either resort.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
