We are planning a trip in March and we are staying at the Polynesia resort. We have never stayed there, what should we not miss there? We also have a 15 year old daughter coming on the trip.

Welcome Kimberly! Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I’m glad to hear you have chosen a fantastic Resort Hotel – Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. It’s my family’s first choice. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and staying at a Monorail Resort is always a great thing!
I highly recommend a Character Dining Experience at ‘Ohana. Start off your day having a delicious breakfast and meeting Lilo & Stitch. If you are not considering a character experience at your Resort Hotel, you should try Kona Café. Their menu is great, I suggest you taste their famous “tonga toast”, delicious!
If you are looking for some family night fun, I recommend Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, It’s a very special dinner show, presented at an open-air theater. The show features traditions from Polynesia, including music, dancers and drummers. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to you visit. But, if you are looking for a place to enjoy unique food and special drinks in a very nice place, you can’t miss Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto
Finally, save some time for relaxing at the hotel swimming pool and watch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from one of the hotel beaches.
I am sure your family will have an unforgettable time. This hotel is amazing!
Hope this helps your planning. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
    Have a magical day!
