We are planning a trip March 27-30. We are Florida Residents and want to purchase the Discover Disney 3 day tickets. I saw where the regular Florida resident tickets have blackout dates starting March 28. This is not the same for Discover tickets right?!

Hi Holly! Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Living in Florida gives us so many ways to enjoy Walt Disney World. I know lots of people look forward to the announcement that the Florida Resident Discover Disney tickets will be available again, and now they are!

I took a look at the Florida Residents Tickets and Passes page on the Walt Disney World website, and I do see blockout dates listed for the Discover Disney tickets. It states that March 30 - April 9 are blocked out for Magic Kingdom Park only, so all of your dates are open except for March 30, and that date is only blocked for Magic Kingdom. You can visit one of the other parks on that date if you like.

Looks like you're good to go with your plans, Holly! Please let us know if there's anything more we can do for you. Have a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
