Hi Moms. We are planning a trip March 21-29,2014. There will be 5 adults and 2 kids. We have been planning on two rooms at POP. What are the chances of getting connecting rooms? Anywhere we could all stay together that is price comparable?

    Hi, Kimberly!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you have a fun Walt Disney World vacation coming up next spring! Some of my favorite Disney Parks visits have been with larger groups of family and friends.

Although room requests can’t be guaranteed, Disney does their best to accommodate Guests. There are quite a few connecting rooms at Disney’s Pop Century Resort (about half of the rooms connect to another room) so there’s a good chance that your request will be granted, especially if you take advantage of early online check-in. Keep in mind that if you’re unable to get connecting rooms after all, you can ask for adjoining rooms instead so your group is right next door to each other.

Another great value resort option is Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, which opened last year and has quickly become a Guest favorite. The family suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort can sleep up to six people and feature a separate bedroom, a pull-out sofa in the living room, a double size pull-down bed, two full bathrooms and a kitchenette. There are also standard accommodations, and you may request connecting rooms.

I hope this helps, Kimberly. Please write back with more questions as your planning continues.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
