We are planning a trip to the Magic Kingdom the week of Nov. 12th, 2018, will it be decorated for Christmas at that time?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Becky!

I LOVE Christmas at the Walt Disney World Resort! Somehow, it makes an already magical place even more spectacular! I have taken many early to mid-November trips and in my experience, Magic Kingdom Park is already decorated beautifully for the holidays at that time. The separate ticketed event, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, typically takes place in Magic Kingdom Park on select nights throughout the months of November and December, and with all of those decorations, it instantly gets me into the Christmas spirit!

Throughout Walt Disney World Resort, you'll find that the decorations go up gradually, which means that they may not have all of the decorations up at all of the theme parks and resort hotels by your trip, but they usually have a lot of them up already. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information about exciting holiday happenings coming to the Walt Disney World Resort this year.

Please come back and visit us with any other questions you may have! Happy planning!
