I am planning a trip to Magic Kingdom in September. How far in advance will information be available to start making reservations for the activities that we will want to do on the day that we are there in September?

    Hello there Ursula,

Welcome to planDisney! Magic Kingdom Park is my absolute favorite, so I'm thrilled to hear you'll be spending time there in September. There are so many new and exciting things to experience like the return of Happily Ever After, and the opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run both happening next month. There are even some new Character meetings set to debut, and I'm really hoping I'll get to meet Mirabel during my own visit in September.  Fingers crossed that the timing works out and we won't be waiting on a miracle for too long!

If you're hoping to secure dining reservations or reserve an experience from the Enchanting Extra Collection like a fireworks dessert party or a Capture Your Moment session, you'll be able to do so 60 days in advance. If you're a registered Disney Resort Hotel guest you'll even be able to make dining reservations for the length of your stay, up to 10 days, at the 60-day mark. If you're hoping to see more details about the entertainment offerings available during your visit be sure to keep an eye on the Hours & Events Calendar as your trip approaches.

I'd also recommend downloading the My Disney Experience App before you arrive to familiarize yourself with all its features. Once you're on-site you can use it to purchase Genie+, make Mobile Food Orders, and even find transportation directions from locations all around Walt Disney World Resort Property.  It's such a handy Mouseketool to always have on hand!

I hope this was helpful Ursula. Feel free to stop back and ask us more questions as you prepare for your magical vacation. We'd love to help!

    Memories and magic,
    Amy
