    Hi Helen,

I am so happy to hear you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort in 2014, and even more excited to hear you are considering doing the Wild Africa Trek!  I am planning on doing this tour myself when I visit Walt Disney World Resort in September!  I was concerned with the food options, as I am a very picky eater.  I am not allergic, but I understand your concerns completely.  The food offered does include a variety of smoked meats, some chicken, salmon, shrimps and some other dips and such.  Fresh fruit is also offered along with some tasty desserts.  For a complete menu, I would recommend taking a look at the unofficial website www.disneyfoodblog.com where they do a complete review of the Taste of Africa sampling on the Wild Africa Trek as well as the tour itself.

When you are booking the experience, please tell the Cast Member about the allergies in your group and they will be able to substitute accordingly.  Furthermore, when you arrive at Disney's Animal Kingdom for the experience, remind the guides as you check in about your dietary requests.

I hope you have a "WILD" visit Helen.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help.
