Hi Linda,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so happy that you brought this spook-tacular question to us!
I understand your dilemma with pricing and
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Though various resorts may offer individual activities (check the movie and activity schedules when you arrive), an alternate activity that might offer a little excitement for your group is the Return to Sleepy Hollow event at Disney's Fort. Wilderness Resort and Campground. This event has tiered pricing but is less expensive than Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Guests get to watch the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and meet the Headless Horseman. If you will have little ones with you, just be advised, it might be a little spooky for them!
Linda, for a little more lighthearted fun, visit
Disney Springs to see the festive decor and sample some delicious treats. Try a
Halloween BOO box from
Sprinkles. Their cupcakes are super yummy! While you are there, visit the
Disney Photopass Service Studio to take some fun photos.
Sending pixie dust your way trusting you will capture those forever memories!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
