We are planning a trip for last week in August. I have heard on other boards people getting Unique Pin codes for that week for the free Dining. Is there anyway to trigger one as we really need it as there are 9 people going. Thanks

    Hi Stephanie,

I'm sorry to report I do not have an answer of how to obtain an elusive PIN code! In all our years of visiting Walt Disney World, I have never received one. My neighbor, however, happened to get a PIN code and has never been to Walt Disney World. The possible connection? She recently set up a Disney.com account.

It certainly can't hurt to sign up for anything Disney is offering ... set up an account, sign up for a free planning DVD, order free customized maps, etc. I really don't know if the Disney.com account set up was the specific reason our neighbor was offered a PIN code, but it's a possibility.

It sounds like you're planning to arrive in August, 2014? If so, you'll want to get your Advance Dining Reservations booked now. Give Disney Dining a call at 407-939-3463, let them know you are a party of 9 and they'll provide available options at Disney Dining locations. Booking dining now is a good way to ensure your party can dine together.

Let me know of any other questions coming to mind, Stephanie. I've traveled in larger groups before and am happy to offer our experiences.

Best wishes for a magical vacation!
