We are planning a trip last week in April. Will it be warm enough to enjoy and get the money worth out of the water park tickets?

    Hi there Jodi,

April is a fantastic time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, especially considering the brutal winter you've most likely experienced in Virginia this year!  While temps have indeed been colder than normal this year, even in Orlando, it has already begun to warm up.  This week's temperatures have reached the low 80's even though the evenings still tend to be a bit on the chilly side in the mid 50's.  A friend of mine was just at Typhoon Lagoon wither family and the warm, sunny weather made me a bit jealous, to be honest!  They spent the entire day enjoying the water park and its attractions and no one looked cold!

I am willing to bet that by late April, Orlando will experience very warm temps which will be perfect for enjoying the resort pools and water parks as well.  The pool temps are kept at a cozy 82 degrees year round too, so many visitors continue to enjoy the pools and water parks regardless of the air temperature. That said, I am confident the weather will be perfectly warm and sunny just in time for your arrival!

    Best wishes,

    Amanda F.
