I am planning a trip from 11/5-11/13 but the last day we are there the flight leaves at 8am. If I do the DDP do we have to pay for all 9 days or is there a way to pay for 8 since we won’t be there that last day?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Krystal!

My family and I absolutely love using the Disney Dining Plan when we're on vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. I love the ease of being able to just tap my MagicBand and enjoy something delicious to eat, and the convenience of having it all taken care of in advance really helps us save some time and money.

When you add the Dining Plan to your vacation package, everyone on your reservation is allocated their credits based on how many nights you're staying at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. We'll use your upcoming vacation as an example: if you are staying for eight nights and using the Disney Dining Plan, everyone in your Resort Hotel room will receive eight Table-Service credits, eight Quick-Service credits, and 16 Snack credits to use over the course of your vacation. You can use them any time you want during your stay, including on your check-in and check-out days if you have time before your early flight!

You can add the Disney Dining Plan when you book your vacation package or after you've booked it by contacting Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. Everyone in your Resort Hotel room must be on the same Dining Plan for the entirety of your stay, so at the moment there isn't a way to book it for just a few days, but it looks like it's going to work out perfectly for your family just the way it is! Make sure you add it to your package as soon as possible, because the Dining Plan can't be added once you've arrived for your vacation.

    Have a magical day, Krystal!
