Hello, Nelson!
Welcome to planDisney. We always travel with extended family members on the Disney Cruise Line, and I love watching my kids create special memories with their grandparents and cousins. Disney Cruise Line is the ideal vacation for large groups because the wide range of activities makes it simple for each person to find experiences they will enjoy. It is also easy to split up for a while and then come back together for dinner and evening entertainment.
With such a large group, I recommend calling the friendly
Cast Members at Disney Cruise Line for assistance. They can coordinate the reservations for all of the staterooms and assist with specific details, such as sitting together (or near each other) for dinner each night. Disney Cruise Line offers
rotational dining that allows Guests to experience each restaurant on the ship with the same dining team. By the end of the cruise, your dining team will feel like family!
You can also try connecting with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (often called a travel agent). We have used Vacation Planners for a couple of our Disney Cruises because they helped book some of our experiences. Disney Cruise Line does not maintain a list of Vacation Planners, but I found mine by asking in a mom's group on social media and by talking with friends about who they had used in the past. Just make sure the Vacation Planner has plenty of experience with Disney Cruise Line!
After booking your cruise, start exploring which
Port Adventures and Onboard Activities you want to reserve when your
booking window opens. Guests have different booking windows depending on their
Castaway Club status (the more you cruise, the higher your status!). First-time Guests can book activities 75 days prior to their sail date.
Nelson, I hope you find the perfect cruise for your group! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions!
Happy sailing!
Jen
