Hi. We are planning a trip for 2010 (i know I'm a bit early in planning), and have flexibility to go anytime after January 1-May 30th. What time would you recommend, taking into consideration weather and crowds? Thanks!!

The Moms Panel LOVES early planners. Just this weekend, hubby and I were discussing dates for travel to WDW for more than a year from now.

If you look look at THIS list of frequently asked Disney questions. You'll see that most of January and early February are in the list of least crowded times of the year to visit WDW. I have been to WDW many times in January and February. You are gambling a bit with the weather being on the cold side. (You can read about my weather experiences over Martin Luther King weekend HERE.) But I personally would MUCH rather face the possibility of a slight chill over the 90 degree heat you'll face in May.

In my opinion, crowd levels are a huge factor in the enjoyment of a Disney vacation, so I would go for the low crowd time - early in the year.
