We are planning a trip with 2 kids ages 4yrs and yrs, also set of grandparents. We are trying to choose between pop century and caribbean beach. what would recommended for this group?

Welcome to the Moms Panel Wendie! We're excited you're hEAR!

Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are both fantastic resorts and I think that you'd like either one. However, because you are bringing the grandparents I would suggest Caribbean Beach.

Your kids will love the main pool at Old Port Royale that is themed after a Spanish Fortress. It features 2 waterslides. Next to this is a water play area for younger kids featuring small slides & squirt hoses. There is also a hot tub in this pool complex so it features something for everyone.  If your family prefers a more relaxed pool setting, there are several quiet pools throughout the resort.

The food court is also located at Old Port Royale and offers a lot of nice options. If you prefer a sit down dinner, try Shutters.

The Caribbean Beach Resort offers many recreational activities for all ages. The grandparents would get a kick out of renting a Surrey Bike and taking the grandchildren for a spin. There are nature trails and playgrounds. If being on the water is your thing, the Marina rents a variety of watercraft including sailboats, pontoon boats and canoes where you can set sail on Barefoot Bay.

The theme of this resort is a tropical, peaceful get-a-way. It is a little more quiet than Pop Century and more conveniently located near Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the BoardWalk area. It is a pretty big resort so keep that in mind when making your reservations. If you won't have a car, you may want to request a building near a bus stop. You may also want to request one near Old Port Royale since you may be spending quite a bit of time there.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
