Planning a trip for June 2014. Worried about our ADR call in day being Christmas Eve or Christmas Day depending on when we leave. Do they take ADR calls on Christmas morning? If I wait until the day after Christmas will the popular ADR's be gone?

    Hi Kim!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World in June!I had this exact same issue a few years ago when making reservations for my family's vacation in June and yes, Disney Dining Reservations line was indeed open at 7 am on Christmas Day.Also, remember that you can also make reservations online starting at 6 am as well.

When trying to decide whether to wait after your 180 day out mark to call for you dining reservations,I would consider a couple of factors.

-Will you be making reservations at popular table-service locations such as Be Our Guest or Cinderella's Royal Table?
-Will you be making any character dining reservations?
-Are you looking to for breakfast reservations inside of the park before the official opening time?
-Are your possible dining times flexible?

If you can answer yes to any of those questions, then I highly recommend that you go ahead and make your dining reservations exactly 180 days before you arrival.

Keep in mind that guests staying on Walt Disney World property have the availability to book their reservations 180+10.This means that guests staying on property can make reservations at exactly 180 days out plus for the next 10 days of their vacation. This is important because many guests that are arriving before you will already have made dining reservations for days that will coincide with your vacation. With summer being a very popular time to visit Walt Disney World, certain table-service locations will book much more quickly than if you were traveling in a less busy time of year.

I hope this was helpful,Kim!If you have any more questions or need advice while planning your upcoming vacation, please don't hesitate to visit me again.

    Happy Planning!
