We are planning our trip for June 12th-June 18th. Do you have to use your breakfast credits for breakfast? Can we use a breakfast and a dinner credit to go to Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, or do we have to use a lunch and a dinner?

    Hi Tanya,

If you're referring to the Disney Dining Plan you don't get specific meal credits (breakfast, lunch, dinner).  Instead, you given general credits to be used in whatever combination works for your family.

On the standard plan each guest is given 1 Table Service Meal, 1 Counter Service Meal, and 1 Snack per night at the resort.  You can use them for any meal and in any combination.  For example, if you were staying 3 nights you would have 3 Table Service Meals, 3 Counter Service Meals, and 3 Snacks.  On the first day of your vacation you may choose to eat a large breakfast at Chef Mickeys, have a light snack and then eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner.  That would use up 2 Table Service and 1 Snack credit.

Spirit of Aloha uses 2 Table Service credits.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
