Hi Katrina. I see that you have visited the Disney Parks Moms Panel in the past. Thanks so much for your continued questions throughout the years.
I, personally, have a couple of what I would call "minor" food allergies. Regardless of the "minor" level, the Chefs and other Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort always go above and beyond when I ask them about certain ingredients in the menu items. They are always extremely accommodating.
I have a couple of tips for you as your plan your vacation. Upon arrival at any of the restaurants, let your server know about any of your
dietary needs and requests. They will do all they can to accommodate your family and are exceptional at providing delectable options for most common food allergies.
The most important suggestion I can make is for you to make contact with Walt Disney World Resort at least 14 days prior to your arrival and after booking all of your dining arrangements for your entire visit. Send an email to
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. The Cast Member will be able to provide you with detailed information regarding the dietary options for your mom.
If needed, you can also bring food into the theme parks. When going through security, simply let them know someone in your party has a food allergy. There are also some local grocery delivery services that can deliver items to your Resort hotel.
Thank you again for sharing your questions with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love how proactive you are in taking care of your mom. I know the amazing Cast Members within Disney Dining will do all they can to ensure she enjoys every meal.
