We are planning a trip this June and want to stay at the FW Cabins. I have heard the pools there are not themed. Is that the case? Would we be able to use the pool at the Wilderness Lodge? Thanks.

    You're in luck!

By the time you arrive at Fort Wilderness in June, the new pool area will be revealed with a slide and zero-entry--but theming is under-wraps!  (It is scheduled to re-open in late March.)

Visitors to Fort Wilderness have been advised that they may use the pool at Wilderness Lodge until the new pool opens, but I don't believe there will be any plans to continue this policy after the new pool opens.

    Enjoy the Fort this summer!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
