    I am planning a trip in June. We are not staying on disney property but would like to go to Mickey's Backyard BBQ. If we left MK are we allowed to use the boat to get to the Fort wilderness resort?

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

    You can definitely use Disney transportation even though you are not staying on property.  You are right, the best way to get to Mickey's Backyard BBQ is to take the boat from the Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness.  It's a fun way to travel as long as it is not too cold! 

    Just make sure you know what time the Magic Kingdom closes so that you can catch the boat back to the park.  By the way, if you want to re-enter the Magic Kingdom afterward, you won't have any problems doing so as long as it isn't closed!  You wont' have to use another day of your ticket or anything like that!
