I am planning a trip in June 2010 and need some advice about hotels. Which deluxe resort would you recommend? I will have my 4 children ages 20, 17,9 and7. We want plenty of room and for it to be "kid" friendly.

    Hi Kendra,

Thanks for writing!  If you'd like a deluxe property that is kid friendly and can very comfortably accommodate your entire family, I would suggest one of the Disney Vacation Club properties.  A two-bedroom can sleep eight guests, has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, master bedroom with a whirlpool tub, second bedroom with private bath and  private balcony or patio.

The Villas at the Beach Club and Boardwalk are spectacular, and share an amazing location on the Boardwalk.  By staying at either resort, you will be able to walk (or take a short boat ride) to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.  In addition, you'll be able to enjoy some wonderful restaurants and free nightly entertainment on the Boardwalk in the evenings.

The pool at the Beach Club (Stormalong Bay) is rated by many guests (and me!) as the best on Disney property and is sure to delight kids of all ages.  The other DVC properties are also great options for your family.  The Villas at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Bay Lake Tower, and Wilderness Lodge are all great deluxe properties.

    Have a wonderful trip!
