We are planning a trip for June and I kind of remember some parades and fireworks are not as often until summer. When does this start?

    Hey Susan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Summer is a great time to be visiting the Happiest Place on Earth!

The current schedule for fireworks is Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You’ll be happy to hear that even though fireworks aren't going off Monday-Thursday, you can still catch the amazing show with the projections. It's currently Mickey's Mix Magic and it's so much fun! You basically get everything but the fireworks Monday-Thursday. Fantasmic! is also currently on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday night schedule. The new parade “Magic Happens” is running daily with two show times. Because of how new and amazing the parade is, I predict they will keep two daily showings at least through the end of Summer.

Typically you can find show schedules about 5-6 weeks ahead of time. So right now, you can check the schedule into the second week of April. They should switch over to a more full schedule at the middle to end of June. Stay in touch with the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest information on the parks. You’ll hear it from them first. You could also start checking the schedule starting in early to late May to see what's ahead. Another option would be to schedule a weekend trip so you don’t miss any of the action or you could schedule a trip in July so you know you are in Prime Time Summer. Because we are just speculating, my recommendation would be to plan a weekend trip.

Well Susan, I hope you found this information and if you have any more questions for your summer trip, please come back and let us know how we can help.

Remember, always believe in the magic!
