    We are planning a trip for June 14. It will be my hubby and our 11 y/o. We are currently booked at the Coronado Springs Resort and wondering is there a better mod out there or should we just go value for the Disney themeing aspect?

    Hi Anitra -

    Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is my favorite moderate. As a convention hotel, it feels a bit more deluxe than the other moderate resorts. However, because it's a spot popular with conventions, it's got less of a kid-friendly theme. It's also a huge resort, and can feel a little overwhelming.

    Since all kids are different (especially tweens), I'm not sure how your 11-year old will appreciate a more kid-friendly theme. If you think they would like something more kid-friendly, I'd recommend Disney's Art of Animation. My 9-year old loves it there, and the whole atmosphere is really fun. I also found it be be fairly convenient to get to the parks, since it doesn't share a bus route with any other resort.
