Hi, Kelly! Thank you for bringing your fantastic question to us.
You do not need to have a hotel reservation or even Theme Park tickets to book an Advanced Dining Reservation. You are very smart to make these reservations right at the 180 day mark, as there are many popular restaurants that do fill up quickly. Since you will not yet have a room reservation you will have to make reservations for one day at a time. For example 180 days from today you can make a reservation. However you are not able to make reservations for additional days today, even if you plan on vacationing longer. Be sure to cancel your reservations at least 24 hours in advance should the need arise to avoid any cancellation fees.
Have a magical day, Kelly!
