    We are planning a trip June 6- 13, 2009. I have 2 children. 1 girl 13 and one boy 5- my daughter already has picked something special and extra to do during our trip but I need something special for my son to do during our trip. Any suggestions?

    Hi Richard --

    Your children must be so excited about your upcoming vacation!

    Have you considered a Pirate Cruise.  They leave port from several resorts and set sail on the "high seas".  Your son will don a pirate hat as he sails off to search for treasure.  The cruise lasts a couple of hours, and lunch is served.  For more information, or to book this experience, call (407)WDW-PLAY (939-7529).

    The Grand Floridian Resort also has a Grand Adventures in Cooking program.  Children hand paint their own apron, decorate a chef hat, read a story, bake a treat and share it with others at the resort.  For this experience, call (407)WDW-DINE (939-3463).
