Greetings Leila! Thanks for swimming by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'd be happy to assist you. My family absolutely loves the Disney Water Parks, and we make sure to spend a few days splashing around either
Blizzard Beach and
Typhoon Lagoon each year.
Since we are a family of four with two young children, we are always looking for water attractions we can experience as a group. At Blizzard Beach, all four of us can slide together in our favorite raft-style ride -
Teamboat Springs. Since this attraction does not have a minimum height requirement, even my three year old daughter can get in on the fun! Pairs can also enjoy
Cross Country Creek, this park's lazy river style attraction, in inner tubes made for two. These double tubes have seating and handle bars fit for a duo. Finally, though not a slide, the park's
Chairlift can comfortably fit up to three adults in one chair, side by side. We enjoy the lovely views from this tranquil transport that takes guests to the top of Mount Gushmore.
Typhoon Lagoon offers a few more options for those who want to double up. My personal favorite, the
Crush 'n' Gusher, is a coaster-style slide that can accommodate groups of two. For a unique family raft ride, be sure to check out
Miss Adventure Falls, this park's newest attraction. It even features an animatronic parrot who talks to your crew! Both the aforementioned rides are very popular, so I recommend making them your first two stops after arriving. In addition to these two slides,
Castaway Creek, a lazy river ride, provides double tubes, and
Gangplank Falls can accommodate groups of up to four in large rafts.
No matter which water park you choose, I'm sure you'll have a splash-tacular day chilling out on your Walt Disney World vacation. Be sure to sweeten your water park day by sampling the parks' unique treats. My kids love the
Mini Donuts at Blizzard Beach and the
Sand Pail Sundae at Typhoon Lagoon.
Just keep swimming!
