We are planning a trip for July 2013. We would like to stay in a little mermaid room at Art of Animation Resort, we will need 2 rooms right next to each other. How far in advance should we book this?

    Hi, Nancy!

Reservations can be made now for travel through the 2013 calendar year.  Because the Art of Animation Resort has been getting such great reviews from guests, it is booking up quickly!  If you know your travel dates, I would book the 2 rooms right away.  You can always cancel your reservation, but lock in your rooms and your dates!

Since you want connecting rooms, I would make the reservation by phone at (407)W-DISNEY.  Let the reservationist know your request and make sure he/she notes this.  When you get closer to your magical vacation (about 4 - 5 days prior to arrival) send a fax to the resort reminding them of your connecting room request.

It will be great to have your summer 2013 dates and rooms all booked.  Then you can sit back and dream of all the magic just waiting for you.   Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
