Hello, planning a trip for July. My daughter would love to eat at @ BOG. Do they do special request, like pasta for dinner have some picky eaters. Is dinner preordered? How long should we plan on spending there so we don't plan our FP too early.

    Hi Melissa,

Be Our Guest is one of the most popular restaurants at Walt Disney World for good reason. It's beautiful and the food is delicious. I strongly recommend you make your advanced dining reservations for the restaurant as close to 180 days before your visit as possible to assure the best availability.

When you dine at the Beast's castle at dinner, you do not have the opportunity to order in advance as you can at breakfast and lunch. You are seated in one of the three distinct rooms -- the West Wing, the Grand Ballroom or the Castle Gallery -- and can leisurely peruse the menu and make your selections. (Be Our Guest is the only restaurant in Magic Kingdom, by the way, that offers a wine and beer selections with dinner.)

I've found all Disney restaurants to be incredibly accommodating to those with dietary considerations, including those who are picky eaters. You can always ask for entrees to be modified to remove ingredients or sauces that you don't like. You also can ask for an adult portion of a kids menu item if that is more appealing. In many cases, the chefs will even construct a dish that isn't on the menu to meet a guest's tastes or needs.

When my family has a nice dinner at Walt Disney World, I always try to allow about 90 minutes. It may not take that long, but I never want to feel rushed as we eat and relax.

Thanks for your stopping in at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa. Please let us know if we can help with any other questions as you plan your Disney vacation. Enjoy your time with your family!
