Hello we are planning a trip for January with our 3.5 year old. I am debating between the 7 day on the magic or 7 day on the fantasy. Any suggestions the magic looks like it has more activities for my daughter though I wonder does the fantasy have the sam

    Welcome aboard, Jessica!

So happy to hear that you've got your plans brewing for a magical cruise with your little princess. What a lucky little one to have her mom plan such an awesome vacation. You'll soon be joining the crowd of parents like myself, who have experienced such an awesome adventure onboard the Disney Cruise. And for the most part, we keep cruising with Disney because of the genuine joy that we see in our kids' eyes when they burst with emotion when they first step into the gorgeous atrium of the ship. After that moment, it's all magic... i have a feeling, you'll be hooked after the 1st cruise.

You've got 2 solid choices here - the Disney Fantasy is a much bigger ship, the Magic is a tad bit smaller -- both are equally magical. My personal choice would actually be the Magic, since I do have a preference for the smaller ships. But, there are activities that are distinct to each ship that I think you might want to check out further to help you make a decision. For your princess especially, I think you might want to check out the Royal Court Tea Party that is only offered on the Fantasy. That is a special new activity that is not offered anywhere else. In addition to that, the Fantasy also boasts the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on board. The Magic has an awesome new Youth Club with the Avenger's Academy and I know that might be of interest as well to little buccaneers.

You'll want to check on voyage schedules as well on the Find a Cruise link on the Disney Cruise website. Don't worry -- you're guaranteed to have an awesome time, no matter which ship you choose.
