We are planning a trip in January and have purchased a dining plan. I've made a few reservations, but didn't want to over schedule our visit. My question is, will we be able get seating at table service restaurants without a reservation?

    Hi David!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family loves the Disney Dining Plan. I have two teenage boys who think the best part about a visit to Walt Disney World is all the food!

A short answer to your question is "maybe".  It really all depends on the restaurant you choose and how busy it is when you're there.  Some of the most popular restaurants will not be available without a reservation, while the less crowded ones should be with a mild to long wait.

If you don't want to over-plan your trip so far in advance, my suggestion is to make sure you have the My Disney Experience app.  Then, you can use it to browse availability while you're there.  It's not unusual for us to add dining reservations during our vacation.  You can often find an opening where you want it the day before, or even the morning/day of your desired time.  I do recommend trying to book the reservation before showing up, though.  You would hate to get somewhere only to be told that no walk-ins were being taken that day.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
