We are planning our 25th trip in January of 2018. We have never been in January and are wondering if there are any late park hours offered. The calendar shows everything closing at 9pm or earlier. Is that normal for that time of year? Thank you.

Hello Carol!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You must be so excited about your upcoming visit to the place where dreams come true!

I love visiting in January because since we live in Brazil that’s when my daughter is on vacation from school. The calendar for next January only shows part of the first week, and things can still change, especially because the Walt Disney World Marathon will be taking place from January 3 to January 7. I can see you are arriving at the end of that week, so since we are still months away I suggest that you keep checking the online calendar for updates, as they may happen without notice.

Our last visit took place in January of 2016, and park hours and Extra Magic Hours were slightly changed as we got closer to our travel dates. I was able to notice this since I started making plans 180 days in advance, especially dining reservations. So, once again, keep checking the calendar for any possible updates.
