    Hello Moms! We're planning a trip for January 2017 as a graduation celebration. But I'm not sure where we should stay. I don't want to break the bank but I still want to have the fill Disney experience. I have no idea where to even start!

    You've at least got the hardest part out of the way: you know when you're going! Here are options to consider as you narrow your resort choices: 

    • If you don't want to "break the bank," you may find that a Deluxe resort is not within your budget. However, if you have graduates who would like to be on their own and in proximity to the parks, I highly recommend the Swan and Dolphin. Located in the Epcot area, you are within walking distance to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios as well as Fantasia miniature golf and the Boardwalk entertainment area. While you cannot add the Disney dining package to your stay, you will enjoy the same benefits as other Disney resorts: FP+ reservations 60 days in advance as well as Extra Magic Hours.
    • Old Key West provides the best of both worlds: resort experience with a full kitchen to help offset your dining expenses with a classic Florida theme, ferry transportation to Downtown Disney for its nightlife and all within the Disney resort. If you're bringing a large group, it may be the answer.
    • If sleeping accommodations are not a priority but community space for everyone is, look at the suites at the Art of Animation or the budget-friendly jazz suites at All-Star Music. Essentially in the same footprint as two standard hotel rooms, you gain a microwave, mini-fridge and storage space. Two bathrooms round out the suites that have sofas and other common area furniture that turns into sleep space.
