We are planning a trip for January 2014. My daughter's boyfriend plans to propose to her there. For large group accomadations near Magic Kingdom, where is the best place to stay? Our last visit was at the Bay Resort. We will have 10 adults and 5 children

    Hi there Kristie,

I recently traveled to Walt Disney World with a larger group this past Fall and for something different, we decided to try out the Wilderness Cabins over at Fort Wilderness Resort!  I have to say, it was the most fun vacation EVER!

The rustically fashioned cabins sleep up to 6 guests and feature a separate bedroom with bunk beds and a full side bed, as well as a FULL kitchen and Murphy bed in the living room!  Each cabin is equipped with everything you need and there's even a picnic table and grill!

You can request to be assigned cabins in the same loop which is what we did, so it was like having our own neighborhood!  We even rented golf carts and had a blast exploring the resort as a caravan!  The best part is the location!  A short water taxi ride away from the Magic Kingdom!

There is so much to do within the resort from dining to boating, horseback riding...there's even a free campfire and movie featuring a singalong with Chip and Dale!  Fort Wilderness is your destination for fun with large groups of all ages!  We are already planning next year's trip back to the Fort!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
