We are planning our trip in January. We are checking out on the 15th but still plan to visit a park that day. Can we keep our vehicle parked at our resort or do we need to drive it to the park we plan to visit that day?

Hey there, Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question!

Jennifer, it’s exciting to see that your Walt Disney World Vacation is approaching so quickly! A vacation to Disney World sounds like the perfect way to start the year. One of the things I love most about Disney Vacations is that they don’t have to end at checkout! Resort Guests receive their resort privileges for the entirety of their checkout date! So, the short answer to your question is - yes! You can leave your vehicle at your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, jump on the resort bus or monorail, and head into the Theme Parks to squeeze out every ounce of fun! This plan also gives you a little time to wind down on the ride back to the resort before hitting the road!

I hope this helps, Jennifer! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know

You’ve got a friend in me,
