    Hi! We're planning a trip in Jan/Feb 2018. I have noted that Ariel's Grotto will be closed from 8 January 2018. Is there another option for Princess Character Dining available or is the Plaza Inn the only option now at Disneyland/DCA? Thanks :)

    Dear Nicole,
    You are right in that Ariel's Grotto will be closed on January 8. As you may recall, Disney announced over the summer that they'll be creating an all-new Pixar Pier at the Disney California Adventure Park and that means some of our favorite spots will be closing during the transition.
    Nonetheless, I have great news.
    Goofy's Kitchen, located inside the Disneyland Hotel sometimes has princess appearances!
    Personally, my family has been graced by the appearances of Princess Jasmine and Snow White while dining there. 
    The Plaza Inn at Disneyland is a great place to meet Minnie. I've also seen the Fairy Godmother and Perla, one of Cinderella's lovely mice friends.
    If you book a reservation at the Plaza Inn, you'll be able to enjoy great food, great company and from there, you can head to Fantasyland to meet Disney Princesses at Royal Hall!
