Hi there, Lisa - welcome back to
planDisney!
Ah, your question takes me back to my first visit to the new
Tri-Circle-D Ranch at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I wouldn't describe myself as a horse person, but even for me, it was an amazing visit!
If you have a personal vehicle with you, I suggest driving from Disney's Port Orleans Resort. Parking at Resorts is currently limited to registered Guests from that particular Resort and other Guests with confirmed dining or recreation reservations. You mentioned breakfast, so I'd recommend getting a reservation for an all-you-care-to-enjoy feast of American favorites at
Trail's End Restaurant, just a short walk from the Ranch!
My breakfast reservation stands regardless, but if you don't have a personal vehicle, I suggest utilizing the
Disney Minnie Van Service. You'd use the Lyft app and will be whisked away in a private vehicle with an expert driver. This service is not complimentary, but in my opinion, it's a great value for the convenience of it all.
Keep in mind that there is also complimentary bus and boat transportation to Fort Wilderness from nearby
Magic Kingdom Park. If that's a Theme Park you'd like to visit on the day you also visit the Ranch, I'd start my day rope-dropping Magic Kingdom (taking a bus or Minnie Van from my Resort) and would then head over to Fort Wilderness by boat or bus for a late breakfast or brunch at Trail's End! Or, have breakfast at Magic Kingdom before heading to Fort Wilderness.
I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning next year's trip!
