    I am planning a trip in Jan of 2010, and I want to stay at the Comp. Resort. How far of a walk is it to the monorail if we stay in the Garden Wing section at the resort?

    Its a about a 10 minute walk. 

    Its about 5 minutes beyond the bus stop.  The monorail only goes in one direction and the Magic Kingdom stop is right before the Contemporary.  In hopes of being as efficient as possible, we would walk to the Contemporary and then take the resort monorail back.

    The resort is so close that any way you go will be quick.
