We are planning a trip in Jan. with our 3 kids and my in-laws. We torn between moderate resorts. We stayed at POFQ previously and really liked the access to buses and parks. We would like to try something knew but are concerned about size/buses.

Hi Amy!  Thank you for the question!

I think you would be really happy with the Caribbean Beach Resort.  As a "Moderate Disney Resort", you will find the amenities very similar to Port Orleans.

The buses run on the same type of schedule, which is approximately every 20 minutes, to each of the Parks and Downtown Disney.  The Caribbean Beach Resort is closest to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The room sizes are very similar.  In fact, the rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort are just a teensy bit larger.

In addition, the Caribbean Beach Resort offers what my family has determined to be one of our favorite swimming pools,  the Old Port Royale pool, which has an elaborate pirate theme.  All of the children love the zero entry, slides, and the kiddie area, which includes a pirate ship!

I think you would be very pleased at this resort, and happy that you tried something new!
