Hi! Planning a trip in Jan. with family. Half the family will be leaving after the weekend, but I plan to stay on with my daughter. I won't have a car and was wondering if my resort will help move me to smaller acomodations at a different resort-Thanks :)

    Hi Elizabeth!

It sounds like you've made some Magical plans with your family for January! How exciting!

If you're staying at Walt Disney Resort properties for both parts of your stay, don't worry at all!
On your check out day, simply call Bell Services at your resort early that morning and advise that you are checking out but moving to another Disney Resort. They can help arrange to have your baggage and parcels picked up from your room, tagged, and moved to your next Walt Disney World Resort. You'll need to be in your resort room at the time of pick-up, so be sure to arrange this as early in the morning as you can.

There's no need to be present in your resort room at the resort you are moving to, and your luggage can be arranged to be delivered there for you, or picked up from your new resort's Bell Services area.

As far as yourself and your daughter are concerned, you can just carry on with the fun! Check out of your first resort and then head into the parks or out to do some shopping for the day after bidding farewell to your traveling family. Using Disney Transportation, simply proceed to your new resort later in the afternoon to check-in and catch up with your luggage!

Visit the Walt Disney World website's Accommodations page to review the various Resorts' amenities, room types and pricing to decide what's best for yourself and your daughter to stay and enjoy some extra magic!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Elizabeth!
