We are planning a trip and are interested in purchasing the dining plan. Two of the guests in our room are annual pass holders and are not eligible for the dining plan. Can only 2 of the guests (in a 4 person room reservation) get the meal plan?

Hi Mary! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

In just a few days you will be arriving for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I'm sure you are all very excited! I know it will be a fun trip!

When adding any of the Disney dining plans to your Disney Resort hotel reservation, it must be added for each person on your reservation, for every night of your stay, and each person must have a Walt Disney World ticket. The good news is that since Annual Passholders do have their tickets/passes linked to their My Disney Experience account, they are eligible for purchasing the Disney dining plan as long as they are also on the Disney Resort hotel reservation.

The main person holding the Disney Resort hotel reservation will need to call (407) 939-5277 and speak with a Cast Member to add the dining plan. Just let the Cast Member know that some of the Guests are Annual Passholders and some are Walt Disney World ticket holders. They should be able to help you out!

Enjoy your Incredible Summer vacation, Mary! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
