Greetings, Sharon!
Welcome back to planDisney. I am so excited to see that you have a trip coming up this spring. I imagine you are starting to finalize all the important details before your arrival. So, let's talk scooter rentals at Walt Disney World.
Sharon, if you would like your trip planner to arrange this accommodation for you before you arrive at the Most Magical Place on Earth, I would advise you to reach out to them directly. There may be a group of vendors they work with exclusively. Your planner would also be able to give you more specific details about the services these merchants provide. You can also rent a scooter, or ECV,
directly through Walt Disney World. These rentals are transferable through all theme park locations, so if you rent an ECV at Magic Kingdom Park, you will not need to rent another at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The ECVs are rented by the day on a first come first serve basis and cannot be reserved in advance or leave the theme parks. This is a great option if you will only need the ECV to get around during park time. Should you require the use of an ECV throughout the entire vacation including time at your resort, I recommend using a private mobility company. ScooterBug is the featured Disney provider for this service. ScooterBug works with Disney Resort Cast Members to manage deliveries and returns of your rentals. You can arrange ScooterBug rentals through their
website.
Sharon, April is a great time to visit. The days are warm and the flowers are blooming. And speaking of flowers, if you are going to be visiting EPCOT during your stay, be sure to check out the
International Flower & Garden Festival. There are fun character topiary displays, concerts, and amazing foods to try around World Showcase. You can also check out a variety of
Global Gardens. Some of the unique displays you will see include Spice Garden, Bamboo Garden, and Floating Garden. There are more than 15 creative spaces dedicated to nature around the world. Enjoying the natural beauty accompanied by small plates and live music is a great way to spend a day or even two.
I hope that this information helps you continue to plan for your upcoming adventure.
We'll see ya real soon!
