Hi I am planning a trip with my husband in October or 2013. My uncle has a timeshare at the BayLake Towers that hes letting us use. Are we able to still buy a dining plan if hes making the reservation for us at the hotel and we are just buying tickets/air?

    Hello, Caitlin!

What a great uncle you have!

If you will be staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, you are simply going to fall in love with this property! It's one of my family's favorite WDW resorts because of its elegance, location and unique, sleek design. Of course, all of the other DVC resorts are fabulous as well, each with its own unique charm and features, so it's a win-win situation.

Regarding adding on the Dining Plan, you can certainly enjoy this wonderful feature as well, even though you and your husband are not DVC Members. Simply have your uncle add the Dining Plan to the reservation either when he originally books  your room through Member Services or have him add it (again, through Member Services) at least 48 hours prior to check-in. You'll have to pay the total amount of the Dining Plan in full at the time of booking, though, so plan on that cost coming in at a time that is convenient for you.

Have a wonderful trip! Please be sure to send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
