I am planning a trip with my husband and 2 daughters for early December 2015. I am looking into staying at the Wilderness Lodge. I was wondering if this resort was decorated nicely for Christmas? Also are the woodland view rooms on the ground floor?

    Hi Kelly!

The Wilderness Lodge is actually known to be one of the most beautiful resorts at Walt Disney World and Christmastime is no exception!  If you want to get a preview of it, just Google "Wilderness Lodge at Christmas" and you will find many photos and blog posts dedicated to it.  It's breathtaking and one of my favorite resorts to visit during the holidays.

There are woodland view rooms on the ground floor at the Wilderness Lodge as well as the other floors. Any room facing the wooded area is considered a woods view room.  We stayed in one last year and it was a very peaceful view.   It was especially nice to sit and look at that view after a busy day at the parks!

If you visit www.touringplans.com, they have a great "room match" tool that lets you search for the perfect room!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
