We are planning our trip to Hollywood Studios with 3 Star Wars Fanatics. How much time should we allow to get the most out of Galaxy Edge. We will be there in between Christmas and New Years. Thanks

    Hi Andrea!

I'm so excited to hear that you are getting ready for your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort! The Disney Imagineers have been busy working on so many new things that you will be able to enjoy at the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs. Plus, since you are traveling during the holiday season, you will be able to enjoy holiday magic at Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation!

The time you spend in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will depend on the activities you will be experiencing during your visit. I have visited Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge twice so far and I still haven't seen or experienced everything yet! Since the attractions in the land don't offer FastPass+ reservations, I would recommend that you plan at least one hour queue time for each attraction you would like to enjoy. If you will be enjoying any other experiences in the land, such as building lightsabers at Savi's Workshop or building droids at Droid Depot, then you will want to allow approximately 30 minutes for those experiences. If you plan on dining in one of the restaurants in the land or grabbing a drink with the locals at Oga's Cantina, then I recommend that you allow an hour for that experience, as well. Finally, one of the most magical parts of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is that you can experience your own story within the Star Wars galaxy. So I recommend that you leave plenty of time in your itinerary to interact with the locals of Black Spire Outpost, explore the merchandise available for you to bring home, find some reminders of classic Star Wars moments throughout the land and simply enjoy the magic of being a part of the Star Wars universe. Overall, I would plan on spending around four hours in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, depending on the experiences you have planned into your itinerary, since you are traveling with major fans.

Keep in mind that the theme parks are often busy between Christmas and New Year's Day, so you may want to plan on arriving at the theme park early so you can beat the crowds and make the most of your day!
