Hi there, I am planning a trip for the holiday season and want to know when does the Halloween season end and the Christmas season begin for 2017?

Hi, Hoku! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A visit to the Disneyland Resort during the Holidays is pure magic! So much holiday decor greets you around every corner and and the holiday overlays on "it's a small world," Haunted Mansion, and Jungle Cruise make your visit that much more festive.

The official dates for Halloween Time and the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort have yet to be released. According to the website, Halloween Time will be September through October and the Holidays are slated to begin in November. You will want to follow the Disney Parks Blog as they will be the first to announce specific information. Halloween Time dates are typically announced in late summer and the dates for the Holidays are usually released in the fall.

I visited the parks last year in early November and was pleasantly surprised with how much Holiday decor was up during our trip. It wasn't the official start of the Holidays yet, but they started transforming the parks to the Holidays almost immediately after Halloween Time ended.

I hope this information was helpful and hope to see you at the Disneyland Resort this holiday season!
