We are planning a trip and half of our group was able to reserve Disneyland on 11/12 but now the rest of us can't. How do we make sure we won't have the same problem if we try to change to California Adventure?

    Hey Jenn!

    Welcome to planDisney!

An enchanting trip awaits to the Happiest Place on Earth. November 12th sparks the Magic of Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. This Christmas celebration runs through January 9, 2021. It is my favorite time of the year and it is probably yours too since you are planning to be there on the first day. If you haven't heard already, Mickey and Minnie will be dressed in new outfits this year. They are all bundled up, cozy and ready to celebrate this holiday season with you.

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble getting theme park reservations for your entire group. At this time theme park reservations cannot be modified so if you would like to change from starting at Disneyland Park to starting at Disney California Adventure Park you would need to cancel your current reservation and make a new one. There is no guarantee that you would all get a theme park reservation starting at Disney California Adventure Park. The good news is that guests are constantly canceling and making theme park reservations so availability is constantly changing as well. I recommend you cancel and make a new reservation either very early in the morning or very late at night when the least amount of guests would be trying to make a theme park reservation. I have found this to work for me on more than one occasion.

Well Jenn, sending some pixie dust your way to secure your reservation!

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
