Planning a trip for 6/12. We are a group of 5. Me, DH, DD ages 6 &8 and my mom. Considering 2 rooms at POR or 1 room at Beach club. Is the transportation to other resorts that much better from the BC to be worth giving up the space of 2 rooms? The po

Hi Susan! I personally would keep the two rooms at Port Orleans. It is a lovely resort and for the amount of time you spend in your room you will find having two rooms a much better situation. Two rooms give you two bathrooms and you can always request they be connecting which would be perfect. You can put kiddos down in the evening while the adults visit in the other.

If you were to choose the Beach Club I wouldn't consider the transportation one of the positives. Like most of the deluxe resorts you still have to share the route with another resort making times just about as long as any other on property. What the Beach Club will give you is the best pool facility on property called Stormalong Bay. It can only be used by the Yacht and Beach Club resort guests and it truly is wonderful. It has lazy rivers and sandy bottom areas and a pirate slide. So if you are thinking of a lot of time in the sun by the pool this would be the only reason I would go here under your circumstances.
